Fires

In every town there is at least one big fire. The fire station and maintenance department burnt down in the 1974. In that fire a three week old fire truck was burnt to a crisp. The estimated cost for the damage to the fire station and maintenance department was one hundred thousand dollars. In 1975, the recently remodeled Carter Lake Club Ballroom burned to the ground. The ballroom remodeling cost over $150,000 and had remodeled under a week before, adding over 600 new chairs. Both fires, happening in the span of less than two years, were thought to be arson.
